About Exclusively Africa:
Exclusively Africa, Inc has spent the past 20 years creating customized luxury safari itineraries and African adventure travel for discerning travelers. While Exclusively is based in Miami, Florida our day-to-day operations are conducted from Johannesburg, South Africa. To ensure our North American clients can have easy, inexpensive, and real-time access to our representatives, we maintain a Miami telephone number (305-567-2996) in the Johannesburg office.
The Exclusively Africa team has spent the past 20 years gathering first-hand, intimate knowledge of over 80 different Safari Lodges and venues in Southern and East Africa. This hands-on knowledge (regularly refreshed with return visits to these properties enables us to readily match client needs and with the correct properties and ensures that the once-in-a- lifetime adventure in Africa is unforgettably special.
Availability of Lodges, Hotels and Special Activities
While Exclusively Africa is known for its efforts to ensure all client requirements are met, adequate lead-time in making a booking is an important factor consideration to complying with our clients’ needs and desire. Our Safari providers are, in the main, smaller, exclusive lodges where availability can often be at a premium. Thus the more lead-time given for reservations, the wider the range of options available and the greater likelihood of securing bookings at your chosen times and locations.
We make every effort to fulfill our client’s desires, but season, holidays periods and the amount lead-time given, may influence which of our preferred safari properties are available on requested dates.
Refund/Cancellation Policy
Refund policies for our preferred Safari properties parties vary widely and Exclusively Africa has no direct influence or control over these policies. As noted above we typically recommend smaller Safari Lodges where any unexpected vacancy will have a significantly negative impact on their income.
In an effort to minimize any potential vacancies, the Lodges typically require a down payment of 20% to 40% of the total costs to secure a booking. In certain instances this down payment may not be refundable.
Within 90 days of the date of travel, the Lodges require the client to remit the entire balance due. Should the client be unable to comply with their itinerary on the stated dates the Lodges may retain up to 100% of all payments made.
Exclusively Africa recommends that the client discuss the Refund Policies of the individual Lodges and/or hotels on its itinerary with their Exclusively Africa Representative at the time of agreeing on their Itinerary
Exclusively Africa also recommends that clients research and consider cancellation insurance as a means to protect themselves against unforeseen events that could affect their ability to travel on the specified itinerary dates.
Credit Cards
Exclusively Africa accepts only MasterCard and Visa credit cards at this time.
You may also enquire about making payments by wire transfer or in some cases directly to the lodges in order to use AMEX or Diners.
Security Policy
Virtual Card Services process all credit card transactions. All credit card transactions are 128 bit Secure Socket Layers (SSL) encrypted. The company registration documents and the site's registered domain name are checked and verified by Thawte, ensuring the cardholder and merchant that nobody can impersonate VCS to obtain confidential information.
Virtual Card Services is committed to providing secure online services. All encryption complies with international standards. Encryption is used to protect the transmission of personal information when completing online transactions. Virtual Card Services Internet servers are protected by firewalls and intrusion detection systems.
The Merchant does not have access to credit details.
Virtual Card Services continually reviews and enhances its security in line with technological changes.
Consent
By making payments via Credit Cards, you consent to the Terms and Conditions stated herein.
Law
Since all Credit Card payments are processed in South Africa, the Conditions will be exclusively governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of South Africa whose Courts will have exclusive jurisdiction in any dispute, save that we have the right, at our sole discretion, to commence and pursue proceedings in alternative jurisdictions.
